    Hi,

    Hi

I agree with Mr. Satanoperca. It´s a female Pseudoepiplatys. Final size 3,5 cm (1 inch 2/3) It´s possible it may eat very small shrimps below a size of 5 mm (1/5 inch). One should keep it as couple or 1 male with 2-3 female.

Agree on the ID of the fish, looks like a female, a tiny killifish. They tend to stay at the top of the water so they are pretty shrimp safe, but they are capable of eating babies.
    Very nice tank you have.
Its hard to say why the bees died. Sometimes they don't adjust well to new water.

    Hi Guys,

    Thank for the advise.

By the way, how to tell the sex of the the fish. I only bought 2 of them.

Thou they are small and tiny = will not eat shrimp.. Guess I'm wrong.

Hope my Cherry breed more then enough and my plants can hide them well...

Read on the net that they only eat live food..

Thank for the comment on the tank.

Actually till now, i dont know the PH lvl, hardness, and other water condition my tank is... the only thing i know is that the condition is good for my cherry to breed.... and they breeding quite ok.

Bought the other species of shrimp hoping to add more colour to the tank.

By the way, any of you keep Java Fern?

My Java Fern kind of having hairy stuff growing out of the leaves... Is this normal?

    Hi Alex,

this hairy stuff is algae...most probably the same algae that is forming the mossballs. In some tanks they tend to spread.
You should not buy less than 10 shrimps of a species as they need company of their own kind and bees and tigers do crossbreed and the blue shrimp could crossbreed either with the cherry shrimps or with the bees/tigers depending on which species it belongs to.

    Hi Devil,

    Err 10 species...

Hmm Cherry only one species right.

I heard that bee, tiger and blue got difference species and honestly the one i bought, i really dunno wat species they belong to.

But if they can cross breed, that will be interesting.

As for the algae, they seem to be growing out from the Fern Leave... I thou the fern leave is reproducing. Should i remove them?

By the way, recently bought a shrimp food call "Corina Shrimp Delight"
My Shrimp love them so much that they rather had this then the Shrimp Wafer.
